RUNWAY RIGA

RUNWAY RIGA

There are race weekends, and then there are the ones you keep talking about long after the finish line. Our recent trip to Riga with the Hapoclub crew and Juoksut was definitely the second kind.

We headed to Latvia for the Rimi Riga Marathon weekend, filled with running, good energy, CARB LOADING, nervous excitement, fast legs, slow recovery walks, and unforgettable moments shared with old and new friends.

Some of us lined up for the full marathon.
Some took on the half marathon.
Some chased PBs and good vibes in the 10K.

But honestly, this trip became about much more than distances.

Riga delivered

The best running trips always create a unique kind of atmosphere. Everyone has their own goals, their own fears, and their own expectations before the start. Yet somehow, the shared energy pulls everyone together.

The marathon runners woke up before sunrise carrying an equal amount of confidence and “why did I sign up for this?” energy. The half marathon crew looked sharp and focused. The 10K runners brought pure speed and chaos.

There’s something special about standing on the start line surrounded by your own crew and thousands of strangers who suddenly don’t feel like strangers at all. During the race, you go through your own highs and lows, but you’re never really alone. Running through the city with thousands of runners around you is always emotional. The soundtrack of footsteps, spectators shouting your name, and the final meters before the finish line. It hits differently every time.

Until the next start line

Runway Riga turned out to be everything we hoped for, and more.

Tired legs, finish line emotions, shared laughs, and a weekend full of memories we’ll be talking about for a long time.

Riga gave us fast kilometers, amazing atmosphere, and one more reminder of why these trips mean so much to us. Not just because of the running, but because of the people we get to share the experience with.

Huge thanks to everyone who joined the journey and made Runway Riga such a special weekend.
Now it’s time to recover… until the next start line calls again.
